IMASI23 16-Channel Universal Analog Input Slave Module
The ABB Bailey IMASI23 is a high-performance, 16-channel universal analog input slave module designed for the legacy Symphony Enterprise Management and Control System, Harmony rack architectures, and INFI 90 DCS platforms. Engineered for extreme precision, each of its 16 independently configurable channels is equipped with its own dedicated 24-bit delta-sigma analog-to-digital (A/D) converter, delivering exceptional resolution and signal isolation across critical process loops.
This intelligent module utilizes an onboard microcontroller to perform automatic error adjustments, background integrity diagnostics, cold junction compensation, and linear engineering unit conversions—significantly reducing the processing load on the main Harmony controller. The IMASI23 accepts a vast spectrum of field signals, including isolated thermocouples (TC), Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTD), millivolt variables, and high-level voltage/current loops (4-20mA via the standard NTAI06 termination unit).
Ideal for drop-in maintenance, migration, or critical spares inventory, the IMASI23 functions as a direct backward-compatible replacement for legacy IMASI03 and IMASI13 modules.
